The Journey
The first part of this experience is dedicated to Sirena, Corcovado's best-known and busiest sector. For a day and a half, we will explore its short, flat, clearly marked trails, spending more time searching for wildlife, observing its behavior, and pausing whenever photography opportunities arise.
Spending a night in Sirena allows us to remain in this sector longer and continue the search the following morning.
Then, the experience changes.
When we arrive in San Pedrillo, we leave the easy trails behind and enter more natural, uneven terrain. Primary forest appears, wildlife becomes more unpredictable, and the hike takes on a more adventurous character.
Three days in which the first part centers on observation and the second reveals a different side of Corcovado.

Approximate Itinerary
Day 1 · 6:00 a.m.
We depart from Drake Bay at 6:00 a.m. and travel by boat to Sirena. After landing, we begin our first morning outing, hiking along its trails and devoting our time primarily to searching for and observing wildlife. At midday, we return to Sirena Station for lunch, rest, and preparation for a second outing.
Day 1 · 2:00-3:00 p.m.
Around 2:00-3:00 p.m., we return to the trails for the afternoon hike. We will have another opportunity to search for wildlife, observe its behavior, and enjoy any photography opportunities that may arise. At the end of the hike, we return to the station, where we will have dinner and spend our first night.
Day 2 · before dawn
We get up early for a pre-dawn hike, discovering Sirena during one of the day's earliest moments. We then return to the station for breakfast and prepare for our final hike through the sector.
Day 2 · after breakfast
After breakfast, we set out on the trails once again, this time following the route that will take us to the beach and the boat. We leave Sirena and navigate toward San Pedrillo. Here, a different part of the experience begins. We leave the flat, clearly marked trails behind and enter more uneven terrain surrounded by primary forest and a more unpredictable natural environment. The hike becomes more adventurous as we continue toward our shelter, where we will have dinner and spend the second night.
Day 3 · morning
We wake to the first sounds of the forest, have breakfast, and begin our final hike toward Los Planes. We will follow natural trails until we reach a waterfall where we can swim and cool off.
Day 3 · afternoon
We finish the hike in Los Planes and enjoy our final lunch before returning to Drake Bay by 4x4.

Preparation
This experience may include a night in a rustic refuge within the natural environment. It is part of the adventure and does not offer the comforts of a hotel.
The Sirena sector has stricter access regulations. Food, single-use plastics, cigarettes, vaping devices, and sharp objects are not permitted. Keep this in mind when packing your backpack.
