The Journey
On this experience, you will discover two contrasting sides of Corcovado.
On one side is Sirena, the park's best-known and busiest sector. Its trails are flat, short, and clearly marked, and wildlife is more accustomed to human presence. The main objective here is to look for and observe animals, making it a good option for those who come to Corcovado specifically to see wildlife.
On the other side, San Pedrillo changes the way you experience the forest. The terrain becomes uneven, we enter primary forest, and nature becomes more unpredictable. The experience is no longer focused solely on what we can see; it also makes room for hiking, adventure, and the discovery of a much more natural environment.
Two sectors, two very different ways to experience the same park. You will feel the contrast too.
Travelers whose priority is observing wildlife and who want to visit the famous Sirena Station, but who also want to add a dose of nature and adventure to their time in Corcovado. Approximate Itinerary
6:00 a.m.
We depart from Drake Bay by boat toward Sirena Station. After approximately one hour on the water, we land on the beach and prepare to begin the hike.
Day 1 · morning
We follow its flat, clearly marked trails with a clear objective: to search for and observe wildlife. Monkeys, coatis, agoutis, and other species may appear along the way as we explore Corcovado's most famous and busiest sector.
Day 1 · midday
Around midday, we leave Sirena and return to the boat to travel to San Pedrillo. Here, both the landscape and the experience change: we will hike along more natural and uneven trails, discover part of its primary forest, and visit the San Pedrillo waterfall before continuing toward our shelter.
Day 1 · evening
As evening falls, we arrive at the shelter, where we will have dinner and spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the forest.
Day 2 · morning
The second day begins with the first sounds of nature and a good breakfast. From here, we resume the hike toward Los Planes, following natural trails until we reach a waterfall where we can swim and cool off.
Day 2 · afternoon
We finish the hike in Los Planes, where we will enjoy our final lunch before returning to Drake Bay by 4x4.

Preparation
This experience may include a night in a rustic refuge within the natural environment. It is part of the adventure and does not offer the comforts of a hotel.
The Sirena sector has stricter access regulations. Food, single-use plastics, cigarettes, vaping devices, and sharp objects are not permitted. Keep this in mind when packing your backpack.
